Development Kicks Off in LDA City Lahore – LDA City Update

Finally, the development work has kicked off in LDA City Lahore. A grand residential project located near Main Ferozepur Road, LDA City Lahore is an affordable housing project. Launched as a public-private partnership, the project is a joint venture having Lahore Development Authority (LDA) itself as a partner. Consisting of total 3 phases; LDA City Lahore comes with all modern day amenities and is projected to house nearly 50,000 families.

LDA City Lahore Development Update

Recently, Punjab Government has approved funds to initiate development work in LDA City Lahore. Now as the development has started,  installation of sewerage & water system, electricity infrastructure, landscaping, demarcation of residential & commercial plots and paving down road network are underway.

A 180 ft wide road leading from Ferozepur Road to the main gate of LDA City has been completed already. Southern Loop of Lahore Ring Road will pass through LDA City and construction of this section is in its last stages.

Having close approach to Ferozepur Road, Lahore Ring Road and Defense Road, LDA City’s location is handy. Access will become further easier by the completion of Kacha Road and Haloki Road. On Ferozepur Road, LDA City will located opposite to DHA Phase 9 and DHA Rahber.

Master plan of the project has been launched and it is consists of proportional allocation for both residential and commercial plots. Additionally, wide area has been left out for landmarks, entertainment destinations and family parks. LDA City will consist of:
