Bahria Town Karachi Increased Possession and Utility Charges – Latest 2021

If you happen to be one of Bahria Town Karachi members, you must have seen multiple notices from the developers to increase the possession and utility charges. Even the society has informed/notified their members to pay the possession and utility charges before it gets revised. Almost 10 days ago, Bahria Town gave the final deadline of 1^st March. Now finally, society has increased the possession and utility charges for the developed properties.

A 20% increase is made in these charges applicable on all the applications submitted after 1^st March 2021.The possession and utility charges are increased for all the ready plots, villas, apartments and commercial properties of Bahria Town Karachi.

So, if you are still looking to pay your outstanding dues, you must know the documents required for it.

Documents Require to Pay Possession/Utility Charges in Bahria Town Karachi

Possession Request Form

CNIC Copy

2 Passport Size Photograph

Original Allotment/Transfer Letter with Photocopy

Original Receipts of Paid Utility/Possession/Category Charges

If you are the property owner and living in Pakistan, you can easily pay these charges by just visiting the Bahria Town Head Office.

But if living abroad or any other city, then you Cn also authorize your relative/friend to apply for the possession and pay your outstanding dues of Bahria Town’s property.

Following are the procedure/ details to authorize someone:

A Form is required to authorize someone (you can obtain it from Bahria Town Head Office)

02 Passport Size Pictures

Booking Form/Transfer Letter and

A representative at the Bahria Town office will do check the original letter and receipts and scan them. Once confirmed, it will be returned to the applicant.

It is also important to mention here that Bahria Town will charge:

10,000 per square yard for the extra land in residential plots. Similarly, there is a fixed amount that you will need to pay for the extra land in Bahria Heights and Apartments.

If you had already acquired possession of your plot, start construction over it. If not, do apply for it before society takes any other action.
