Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme
Naya Pakistan Housing Program is a new housing project presented by Prime Minister Imran Khan. In this program, the government has aimed to construct 5 million houses for the lower-income earning class of Pakistan. This housing scheme was announced on the 10th of October 2018.
Now the government is going to develop Naya Pakistan Housing Schemes in the following cities of Pakistan:
Rahim Yar Khan
Dera Ghazi Khan
Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme is a project that will be developed as the sustainable government-private partnership model. In this case, the Government will provide land to private construction companies to build houses for the general public. The owners of the houses will pay 10% upfront of the total cost, while the remaining amount will be payable in the easy installments in 15 to 20 years.
Naya Pakistan Housing scheme is a great opportunity for people with low salaries to buy their house at affordable rates. Moreover, it will be a breakthrough in the economic progress of Pakistan. Indeed, NPHP will also bring prosperity to the lives of citizens.
In addition, the government will provide project loans to contractors and builders so that they can complete this housing project timely. The development of NPHP will be completed in different phases. Currently, we are sharing the details of its first 2 phases.
Naya Pakistan Housing Project Phase 1
The first phase of this project is already initiated in 7 districts of Pakistan, including Quetta, Sukkur, Swat Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, Faisalabad, and Islamabad.
The registration responsibility of this project is handed over to NADRA. To get register your house in NPHP, you are required to fill the registration form and submit it to NADRA with all the required information as well as the registration fee.
After the application of your application, NADRA is responsible to verify and assess the number of deserving applicants for the house.
Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme Phase 2
Indeed, NADRA has also launched a registration process for Phase 2 of the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme.
This registration process has begun since 15th July 2019 and will remain open till the next few months.
Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme – Eligibility Criteria
This is a low-cost housing scheme for people who do not have a house in Pakistan. Each housing unit in NPHP will cost between 15-20 lacs only, as well as the installment plan will span over 15-20 years.
To be eligible for this project, you must have:
Hold Pakistani CNIC
Not own any house in Pakistan

Naya Pakistan Housing Project Registration Fee:
While submitting the registration forms for NPHP, a fee of 250/- PKR will be also charged as a registration fee. You can pay this fee in reference with your CNIC no. through the following payment methods:

Attach your two passport size photographs
Attach a copy of your CNIC or NICOP card
Pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 250/-

There are two ways to get register in Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme:
Registering via NADRA’s E-Sahulat
Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme Size of Houses
The size of houses in NPHP will be 3 Marla and 5 Marla. Indeed, these houses will be available as a single story 1 or 2 bedroom houses, or double story 3 or 4 bedroom houses.
Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme Development Update
The basic development work in the decided regions for the low-cost houses has completed. However, the actual construction of these NPHP houses will begin after the allotment process.
Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme House Prices
The prices of these low-cost housing units in Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme are:
3 Marla house price in NPHP is 16.5 lacs to 17.5 lacs
5 Marla house price in NPHP is 21 lacs to 23 lacs
A refundable amount of PKR 10,000/- will be payable with the application. If your application gets approval, this amount will be adjustable in the down payment of10% after the balloting. And if not, this amount will be refund to you from the bank after 15 days of the ballot.
Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme Installment Plan
After paying the 10% down payment amount, the remaining amount of these low-cost houses will be payable on the feasible monthly or quarterly installments plans. Moreover, these installment plans will span over a time of 15-20 years.
Possession of Houses in Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme
Possessions of the houses in NPHP will be handover to the owners within 2 years. However, the owners of the houses will be not allowed to sell their properties before 5 years.
